Google Hits Back at Microsoft With New Google Chromebooks for Education

Google today announced 2 new Google Chromebooks for schools with support for Android apps, USB Blazon-C fast charging, and a stylus, among other things. The Acer Chromebook Spin 11 and the ASUS Chromebook C213 arrive this bound.

They both come with a smart stylus that Google said resembles a No 2 pencil "with a unique eraser for correcting mistakes" and no need for charging or pairing "then they can be shared and easily replaced if lost."

Google also teased a 'world-facing camera' so that kids tin record things effectually them when the Google Chromebook is flipped. USB Type-C support, meanwhile, ways "1 Chromebook cart can accuse any device rapidly," Google added.

Other details on specs are scant. Both devices sport a ane,366-by-768px display; the Acer Chromebook Spin eleven promised up to ten hours of bombardment life, while the ASUS C213 tips 12 hours, according to the Google for Teaching website.

All Google Chromebooks released in 2022 will run Android apps, Google confirmed this calendar week, and the new Acer and ASUS devices are no exception.
