Other nonreturnable merchandise includes clearance items, personalized items, bundled items at discount rates (e.g. "4 for $20"; unless the entire bundle is returned), items marked nonreturnable at the checkout or within the product description page, and products that have been assembled

If there is a mistake with your order, or items arrive defective/damages at the time of receipt, we will take care of it and work with you to find the best solution as further described below.

Returns/Exchanges

You can return most items for store credit redeemable on pier1.com within 30 days of delivery.The following will apply:

Only outbound shipping charges for damaged orders will be refunded. All other shipping charges are non-refundable and will automatically be deducted from the refund credit amount.
Clearance merchandise, any items marked "Final Sale" or marked nonreturnable may not be returned/exchanged.
Returns/exchanges are not accepted on pillows, comforter sets, or other bedding products.
We reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.
Each returned item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.
We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back returns.
Refunds are generally issued within 5-7 business days after we have processed your return.

Defective Product and Returns due to Our Error

If there are mistakes with your order, or items arrive defective/damaged at the time of receipt, we'll make it right by sending you replacement parts or accessories, replacing the item or issuing you a refund.In such an event, there is no return shipping charges.

Order Cancellations

Because your order is processed as quickly as possible, there is a 15 minute window for order cancellation during our normal business hours. Please call Customer Service at (888) 384-0700 immediately if you have placed an order in error.If the cancellation request occurs more than 15 minutes after the order is placed, or outside of our normal business hours, the order will be delivered, and must be processed as a return upon delivery.

Love the dresser! I wasn't super convinced by the pictures tbh but needed one urgently and was able to get approved through progressive leasing for this one, and honestly love it! fair spacing and cute look. Before getting it, i read reviews on how complicated it was to assemble but it's honestly not that bad if you're okay at putting things together. I would suggest sorting pieces out first (a few things were mislabeled but you can figure it out). And just go page by page. It'll take a few hours maybe but not bad at all. Just be gentle because wood gets scratched easily. Besides, i think assembling it by myself made me love it even more!

We ordered two dressers from Pier 1. Both were to be walnut. The 6 drawer dresser that was sent is white. We were told that Pier 1 would escalate our claim so we can get this resolved. We have yet to hear anything in regards to how this is being taken care of.

Came damaged. But all the damage was on the inside after putting it together. It's a solid piece. Needs to be packed better. Took 3 hrs to put together with my 11 yr old daughter

I was expecting a better experience and product. My dresser arrived with missing parts and cracked wood. After several instant messaging attempts, a call to the 800 number, that just referred me to a generic email address, the missing part finally showed up (this is after sitting incomplete for over a week).

I love the dresser. It looks exactly like what I expected but is better quality, all hardwood and no particle board except for the drawer bottoms and the back panels. It was simple to assemble and sturdy when completed. I would recommend that Pier 1 not use FedEx for delivery. My dresser went from Indiana to Georgia to Mississippi and then instead of coming to me in Little Rock, Arkansas it went across Arkansas to Fort Worth, Texas, then back to Mississippi and then to North Carolina before finally arriving in Little Rock finally. I was given several different delivery dates by FedEx and told each one was final and accurate. One date given was already two days late the day they sent it to me. Pier 1 intervened at my request and the dresser arrived two days afterwards. I'll give Pier 1 five stars and FedEx zero.

I love the way the dresser looks. It seems sturdy with quality wood, finishes and hardware. ....the problems with it are many, especially pertaining to assembly!! I was not expecting that at all!!! However, I was able to do it by myself over a long afternoon. Instructions were not hard to follow. The big problem is with the wood screws without pre-drilled guide holes. If you don't perfectly screw in exactly straight, you may damage your furniture. One of the screws is slightly puncturing the top. If you don't know where to look, you won't see it. But I know it's there. I hope it doesn't get worse with time and become a visible scar. I had many frustrations putting the drawers together. There were knots in the wood right where the screws are supposed to go. Impossible to go straight. Finally got the drill out and predrilled holes. I highly suggest doing this!! Thankfully my flaws and re-dos aren't visible. But for the cost of this piece, it should have been better prepped for assembly by an amateur. Pier 1 did offer to make things right.

The package was damaged and left at the edge of my driveway. Pier 1 is not responding to phone calls or emails . Perhaps this will get their attention . I'm unable to use it as the biggest drawer is broken .
